About Me
My name is Thomas Vijayan, I hail from Kerala also known as God’s Own Country. I was brought up in Bangalore and around couple of years ago I moved to Canada, where I am now settled with my family.
For past few years, nature photography has been a major part of my life. I love this and this is my passion, not my profession. The big cats have always been my favorites; especially the largest of these cats, the mighty tiger is my all-time sweetheart. Their elegance, proud-ward walking and the way they play in the water made me a desperate fan of these grand creatures.
I don't think there is something called "perfection" in any photograph. Every click is an experience, the more the better. One can never get bored of nature if they are truly in love with it. Photography for me is a combination of travel, practice, patience, passion, love, care, friends and gear; more than anything, the blessings of the creator is a must to be able to witness the special moments in nature.
We all can learn a lot, when we spend time in and with nature and see the life cycle of the tangible living things which belongs to this beautiful world. I am sure this would help everyone to become a better person, who would then understand the necessity of respecting nature and maintaining the stability of our eco-system. I would like to use this space to share my experience and the photography techniques I have learned from my trials and errors during this short span of time I had and from the places I have visited. I believe that the knowledge makes sense only when it's shared; No one is a master, everyone is a learner. I appreciate your suggestions, comments and point of view, please feel free to put forth.
